1 June 2011 - Thai Stamp Exhibition "Journey to the Amazing Thailand"

On 1 June 2011, H.E. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul Ambassador of Thailand to Romania officially opened the Thai Stamps Exhibition "Journey to the Amazing Thailand" which was jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and National Philatelic Museum during 23 May - 22 September 2011 at National Philatelic Museum, Bucharest.
The exhibition aims to show the public a portrait of Thailand’s traditions and culture. These are depicted in more than 200 stamps which portray Thai culture and tradition, handicraft and national treasures, flora and fauna. This event would be a step forward towards the better understanding and a closer relation between Thailand and Romania.
