                                              2 June 2011 - Painting Exhibition
                            "Colour of the Lands by Thai and Romanian Artists"

         On 2 June 2011, H.E. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, opened, in the presence of the artists, the Painting Exhibition “Colour of the Lands by Thai and Romanian Artists” (26 May – 19 June 2011) which was organized at National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti”.

        The exhibition was a part of the Intercultural Exchange visit of Thai and Romanian artists organized between March and April 2011 by the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest. The  exhibition features the works of paintings from talented contemporary artists from the two countries as well as reflects Thai and Romania’s cultural heritage sites, cultures and walks of life. As the arts speak language which transcends national boundaries, the Royal Thai Embassy succeeded in bringing together different styles, landscapes and cultures into one.
