2 June 2011 - Launch of Romanian - Thai Friendship Envelop
"Romanian and Thai Culure on Stamps"

On 2 June 2011, H.E. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania and Mrs. Cristina Popescu announced the launching of Romania - Thai Friendship Envelops which was jointly issued by Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest and Romfilatelia. These beautiful envelops depict various facets of the cultural heritage of our two countries with great artistry and skills.

The 35,000 envelops were issued and people can take them from any post office in Romania. This project was meant to foster the cultural ties and strengthen the friendly relations between Thailand and Romania.
